The singer clarified that he never supported Salman during the infamous hit-and-run case. He said, “Did I support him? Never. I had merely stated that if someone sleeps on the road, it’s bound to happen that a drunkard or a reckless driver might run them over. Such incidents are common – people sleeping on roads or footpaths, and accidents happening.”
